The South campus opened in 1986 and provides six buildings and nearly 64,000 square feet for research and development projects. The Richmond campus, opened in 2001, is home to the research facilities for the Center for Southeastern Tropical Advanced Remote Sensing and the Richmond Satellite Operations Center.
